As part of the 10X10 film challenge, we wrote, directed, edited and with the help of Chick Flick Productions produced a 10 minute short for the Sacramento Film and Music Festival. The gist of the story is, it is the early 70’s and a man finds what you could call the magical ring of funk. The ring brings him fame and fortune, but for the owner of the ring, beware. The main characters name is Chucky Funk, and above is the album cover for his first record.
The film is showing Saturday August 16th at 7:30 pm at the Crest theatre in downtown Sacramento. You can go here for more info on the festival.
