Friday, November 7th, 2008Sacramento, California: Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger proposes tax incentives to stop runaway film productions (keeping movie and tv production in California– instead of losing them to places like Louisiana and Canada– that already have tax incentives):
Five years ago, 66% of all feature film production took place in California. Last year, the state claimed just 31%. About 250,000 Californians work in the industry. (read the rest from the LA Times)
