Sacramento Filmmaker Deon Taylor Doing Big Things

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

Dumbworld has to admit, it was a pretty cool feeling to see the commercials for Sacramento Filmmaker Deon Taylor’s Nite Tales on BET.  I haven’t got a chance to check it out yet, but just the fact that somebody from Sacramento, who shoots his stuff locally got that far is very inspiring.

In case you missed last week’s Sacramento Bee article on Deon Taylor, here it is.

The Composer for the Movie Anxiety is Featured in the Sacramento News and Review

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

Sacramento, Ca:  If you missed this weeks Sacramento News and Review, there is an article on Danny Cocke– composer, producer and guitarist with the band Owltrain.  Danny has worked with members of Nine Inch Nails and Linkin Park, and he is a cancer survivor.

He is also doing the music for Anxiety (a movie that I was the camera operator on), a movie based on a short story by Horror Author Michael Laimo.  I hear Anxiety should be finished any day now.
