Congratulations to Tyreke Evans on the Rookie of the Year honors. Very cool for Sac. Jay from Dumbworld has the trademark on the Sacramento Tyrekes (feel free to use that one).

I think Dumbworld might have to represent and pick up some of these Nike SB Dunk Highs in Kings colors that are coming out in May.

For young professionals in the Sacramento area, watch the Kings versus the Clippers on April 8, 2010 with Sac Metro Edge for $19.50 for upper level tickets. Your tickets include a special pregame mixer with Kings Senior VP of Business Operations John Rinehart, who will discuss the “Business of Pro Sports.”
Halftime show by Sacramento artist, David Garibaldi (I remember when dude used to paint at Fox and the Goose and had just quit his job at a bank, to paint fulltime. A great story).
Deadline to buy ticket is April 1st. The mixer is for Sac Metro Edge members only. More information on membership here.
Also, Sac Metro Edge is having a Second Saturday Pre-Party at the MARRS building (20th and J Streets) on April 10, 2010 from 5-7pm. It is free to guests of Sac Metro Edge members. Go here for more information.
I’ve heard of IndieGoGo and Kickstarter as crowdfunding sources, but here is a success story. Gregory Bayne raised $27,210, from 410 contributors, in 20 days for his new documentary on UFC fighter, Jens Pulver | Driven.
