The original Red Dawn (along with Amerika, anybody remember that, a lot more talking and less blowing stuff up) molded my young paranoid mind. In this scene, from the original, Russians (or are they Cubans) attack a high school (???), and of course the black dude is the first to die. Sounds like the bad guys this time will be Chinese and Russian.
Four in training for Red Dawn remake.

I couldn’t help but post this, being raised in the 80′s on Saturday morning commercials I mean cartoons.
The series is supposed to be more adult friendly (meaning people will actually die– but still PG-13). They will show on Hasbro’s GI Joe Website . There will be 10 5 minutes segments with a 10 minute finale.
“Cobra Commander is serious and ruthless in this series. He kills a baby seal in the first episode (Possibly said as a joke to underscore his ruthlessness).” More here.
