I’ve heard of IndieGoGo and Kickstarter as crowdfunding sources, but here is a success story.  Gregory Bayne raised $27,210, from 410 contributors, in 20 days for his new documentary on UFC fighter, Jens Pulver | Driven.  Check out his blog New Breed, and his guiding principles on crowdfunding. via the workbook project

Was reading in Film and Digital Times about the film Oceans and all of the work that went into it. From the producers and directors of Winged Migration, it is a film that was five years in the making.  It opens in the US on April 22nd, and is distributed by DisneyNature. Here is a link to the French trailer, which is a little less “Disneyfied”
