I’ve heard of IndieGoGo and Kickstarter as crowdfunding sources, but here is a success story. Gregory Bayne raised $27,210, from 410 contributors, in 20 days for his new documentary on UFC fighter, Jens Pulver | Driven. Was reading in Film and Digital Times about the film Oceans and all of the work that went into it. From the producers and directors of Winged Migration, it is a film that was five years in the making. It opens in the US on April 22nd, and is distributed by DisneyNature. Here is a link to the French trailer, which is a little less “Disneyfied”

“Walking Dreams” is a documentary by director Chad Ross as he followed David Garibaldi through a three year journey from doing underground shows in Sacramento to London and everything in between.
