Friday, May 21st, 2010

Kejo Productions, the Sacramento Area filmmakers that brought you Sensored (which is now available on Amazon by the way), will be finished with their latest film, Rogue River in June.  The movie stars Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects and Grindhouse) and Michael Cudlitz (Southland and Band of Brothers), among others.

Jason Rudy's Love Blade Premieres August 13th at the Crest Theater

Tuesday, August 11th, 2009

“Very few people will enjoy Love Blade. It’s fringe, oftentimes amateur and frequently disturbing,” isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement for a film, but I will be checking it out- my first Jason Rudy film, August 13th at the Crest Theater (it shows at 7 and 930 pm).

I worked with Jason on the set of Anxiety in 2006, where he was first AD, and one of the things I appreciate about Jason (besides his sense of flair– check out an interview with Fangoria’s GoreZone) is that he actually finishes and screens films (speaking of Anxiety, whatever happened to it?).

Check Out BIzaRRo Dumbworld

Tuesday, June 23rd, 2009

Dumbworld  took a break from winning free PS3s and finding out which Twilight character I am most like to notice that there seems to be a blog  just like dumbworld- only different.  A Bizarro Dumbworld if you must.  Or is Dumbworld the Bizarro?  Bizarro Dumbworld is a pretty ticked off- while this Dumbworld is pretty chill.  This Dumbworld digs bunnies.

Britney Spears to Appear as Lesbian Killer in Tarantino remake of Cult Film Faster Pussycat Kill Kill?

Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

I filed this under “cool shit” because anything having to do with Tarantino has to be cool, right?  Haven’t seen the flick– but I have definitely heard of it– and now I will have to check it out.

I’m calling BS on Britney getting the part though, but maybe, cuz who knows what is true these days. . .  here

Also, Fangoria talks a little about it here, and says that Eli Roth (Hostel) will appear in Tarantino’s WWII movie Inglorious Bastards.  Cool title.
