As a follow up to this post, Sacramento area filmmakers, KeJo Production’s thriller Rogue River is screening at the Sacramento Film and Music Festival on July 31st at 8pm at the Crest Theater. There will be an after-party across the street at the Cosmo Cafe, following the screening. Noticeably missing is a trailer for the movie. Come on guys, post a trailer, so I can link to it! But for now, below is a behind the scenes video.

In addition, here is the schedule for the rest of the Sacramento Film and Music Festival.
What is the significance of 080910? It is the date that National Dumbworld Day happens to fall on this year. Nothing significant will probably happen on that day. No parades (like last year). No free give-aways. No handing out turkeys to the less fortunate or knocking on strangers doors and asking for free candy. Nothing. But know that Dumbworld still loves you and holds you dear to its heart.
Groupon’s deal for the day is $49 all screening pass for the Sacramento Film and Music Festival ($120 value). There is some fine print (if you aren’t familiar with Groupon, here is how it works). You have five days to get in on the deal- so hurry.
What the heez! Great Marketing or Dumb Idea? I vote for great marketing.
If you’re salivating for a chance to marinate yourself in flame-broiled flavor, relax: The experience can be yours for just $3.99 (off the firemeetsdesire.com website– check it and spray the flame to see the king on a bearskin rug).
Just writing this post will probably get me into a Burger King in the next couple of weeks. I’m such a mark. I wonder if you can pick it up anywhere in Sacramento.
