As a follow up to this post, Sacramento area filmmakers, KeJo Production’s thriller Rogue River is screening at the Sacramento Film and Music Festival on July 31st at 8pm at the Crest Theater. There will be an after-party across the street at the Cosmo Cafe, following the screening. Noticeably missing is a trailer for the movie. Come on guys, post a trailer, so I can link to it! What is the significance of 080910? It is the date that National Dumbworld Day happens to fall on this year. Nothing significant will probably happen on that day. No parades (like last year). No free give-aways. No handing out turkeys to the less fortunate or knocking on strangers doors and asking for free candy. Nothing. But know that Dumbworld still loves you and holds you dear to its heart.
A USC cinema graduate student from Sacramento, has shot the first movie on the iPhone4 and has got some buzz with some help from Twitter. Good Idea. When the iPad gets a camera, I am shooting the first movie with it. Probably not, but it will be worth some buzz.

I found this in a box in the back of my closet. It is an underground classic. Me and Jay shot this in front of his mom’s house in North Highlands (Sacramento) with my Sony HandyCam. The elusive Blak Rik Rubin edited it. This video started it all. Funny stuff.
