Lights Camera Action– Why More Hollywood Movies aren't shot in Sacramento

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

Sactown magazine has a great article on why there aren’t more Hollywood movies shot in Sacramento and shows what some local filmmakers are doing to change it (Including the filmmakers from Redwood Palms Pictures and Joe Carnahan and Deon Taylor).

Check it out if you get a chance (sorry– it is not on the web– but I guess that is how they sell magazines, right)?

The Bennys on TV for Sac Music Seen

Sunday, July 20th, 2008

I had the opportunity to work crew on a special promotional music video for the Sac Music Seen portion of the film festival.  The video was for the Bennys.  The Bennys are to appear on KXTV 10′s morning show Sac & Co. on Thursday August 7th (at 8:30am) to promote the festival.  Watch it if you get a chance.
